Church bulletin for Friday 3/21/14

• Holy Land tour. There will be an informational meeting at 6:30 tonight, March 21, a Elkton Road Baptist Church for those interested in going on a Holy Land tour Dec. 1-10. Call 256-777-7743 for more information.

Lenten speakers. Lenten services including lunch are being held at noon on consecutive Wednesdays through April 9 at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, 207 E. Washington St., in Athens. Future speakers include: Greg Patrick, Blackburn Road Baptist Church; the Rev. Jimmy Bassham, First United Methodist Church; Bill Perkins, Central Church of Christ; and the Rev. David Palmer, First Presbyterian Church.

Women Potential. Bondage Breakers presents Women Potential at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 21, and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 22 at Kingdom Way Christian Center, 811 Horton St., in Athens. Event includes mini-breakfast, giveaways, testimonies, poems and praise. More information:  Pastor Cordell Hunter 256-919-4862.

Youth Day/Revival. The Mount Nebo Missionary Baptist Church Youth Day service is at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 23. Minister Michael Timberlake will speak. The Youth Revival is at 7 p.m. March 24-26. Minister Jeremy Garner will speak.

Gospel singing. Kelly’s Creek Baptist Church at 6 Savannah Road, Ardmore, will host a gospel singing at 6 p.m. March 30, featuring Denise Hopkins-Jaco of Toney. For more information call 256-828-0386.

Gospel meeting. Ardmore Church of Christ, 29750 3rd Ave. E, is holding a gospel meeting March 30-April 2. Speakers include Mark Nave, Alton Biley, Wilson Adams, Lowell Sallee and Jason Shackelford. The times are 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
