Phillip and Jody Taylor of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter Bailey Nikole Taylor to Darryl Heath Woods, son of Ronnie and Cindy Woods of Gardendale.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Elaine Taylor of Athens, the late James Taylor, the late Matsye W. Kaufman, and the late Barbara and Arthur Kaufman. She is a 2005 graduate of Athens High School and a 2008 graduate of Wallace State University where she received an associate’s degree in occupational therapy. She is employed by Pediatric Therapy Associates of Birmingham as a certified occupational therapy assistant.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Laverta Helen Woods, and the late Edward and Katherine Henson. He is a 2001 graduate of Gardendale High School and attended Jefferson State College. He is employed by Wilco Construction in Pelham as superintendent.
The wedding is planned for May 15 at Burritt on the Mountain in Huntsville.
