Published October 29, 2008 09:18 pm - Coach Laron White and his team remain undefeated after a 47-21 win against Hatton Friday night — but not without a scare.
For the first time this season, the Rattlers (9-0) went into the locker room at halftime trailing, 21-20, as the Hornets flirted with an upset of the No. 3 team in Class 2A. However that upset hope slowly faded in the second half as sophomore Tray Cosby took matters into his own hands.

Coach Laron White and his team remain undefeated after a 47-21 win against Hatton Friday night — but not without a scare.

Cosby racked up 266 of Tanner’s rushing yards on 33 carries and had three touchdowns, two of which came in the second half, helping the Rattlers pull away.

For his performance against Hatton, Cosby is selected as this week’s Crunch Player of the Week.

Coach White and Tray Cosby were unavailable for comment.
