Tucker leads Coffman in financial support

— Incumbent Limestone County License Commissioner Greg Tucker leads his opponent, surveyor Ronnie Coffman, in raising money for the Limestone County License Commissioner race.

Tucker’s contributors include state and county employees. Coffman’s contributors include many individual supporters and some former candidates for local offices.

Tucker raised at least $24,175 in contributions plus added $9,000 of his own money between December 2011 and October, according to campaign-finance reports filed in the Limestone County Probate Judge Office in Athens.

Ruf Farms LLC, $300; Rosemary Moore, $110; Franklin and Virginia Coffield, $240; Steve Hobbs, $200; Dan Totten, Athens, $500; and Mickey Haddock, $250.
