John David and Kay Brownlow of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter, Farrah Dawn Brownlow of Athens to David Michael Caruso of Meridianville, son of Ralph and Melinda Caruso of Meridianville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bruce and Anatalie Fogg of Athens, the late Laura Fogg, and the late Ben and Louise Brownlow.

She is a 2005 graduate of East Limestone High School. She is employed by the Center for Hearing as a receptionist.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Kay and Gary Smith of Meridianville. He is a 2004 graduate of Goodrich High School. He is employed by UPS.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 17, 2009, at Fairview Baptist Church.
