Engagement: Jernigan-Hoagland



Vernon and Dolores Jernigan of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Leigh Jernigan of Nashville, Tenn., to Chase Douglas Hoagland of Nashville, son of Jerry Hoagland Jr. and Brenda Terry of Tuscaloosa.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jerry and Brenda Andrews and Vernon and Frances Jernigan.

She is a 2009 graduate of East Limestone High School and is currently attending Athens State University. She plans to graduate in December.

She is employed by Safe-Dry Carpet Cleaning as secretary.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Johnny Hoagland, Robert and Doris Langham and the late Jerry Hoagland.

He is a 2007 graduate of Northridge High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of North Alabama where he received Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in accounting and management.

He is employed by Safe-Dry Carpet Cleaning as manager.

The wedding is planned for Sept. 8 at Rippavilla Plantation in Spring Hill, Tenn.
