Engagement: Jackson-Durden

Sammy Jackson and Mona Jackson of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter, Jada Worthy Jackson of Tuscaloosa to Jeremiah Caleb Ragan Durden of Tuscaloosa, son of Sam and Kay Durden of Mayo, Fla.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Eschol and Mable Jackson of Lester and Joyce Coulter of Muscle Shoals and the late Wayne Coulter.

She is a 2008 graduate of West Limestone High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Alabama where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Dorthy Durden of Jacksonville, Fla., and the late Haneon Durden and Mallory and Grace Ragan.

He is a 2004 graduate of Lafayette High School in Mayo, Fla.

He is employed by the Northport Police Department.

The wedding is planned for June 16 at Robertson Farm in Tuscaloosa.
