Earth Day bash, Outdoor Expo slated April 20

Earth Day Celebration organizers believe there should be no shortage of things to do come Saturday, April 20. It’s a day when residents and visitors alike will have the opportunity to help celebrate Earth Day and the outdoors at Big Spring Memorial Park in Athens.

Coosa River Science School’s Environmental Education Coordinator and native of Athens Becky Collier will present Herp Journey, a chance to meet Alabama’s native reptiles and amphibians.
