Alabama Shakes full-length debut album available April 10

— Athens-based Alabama Shakes have a lot going on during the next few weeks. The band’s full-length debut album “Boys & Girls” is now available at iTunes. The album will be available everywhere in the U.S. April 10 and internationally April 9.

The homegrown group, made up of lead vocalist Brittany Howard, guitarist Heath Fogg, bassist Zac Cockrell and drummer Steve Johnson, will also be the musical guest on Late Night with David Letterman April 12.

They also recently debuted their official music video for “Hold On,” the first single off the “Boys & Girls” album, on

The group has a number of upcoming tour dates from April through September and most shows are already sold out.
