ALH is great hospital

Dear Editor:

I just wanted to let our community know to take with a grain of salt the negative remarks regarding our local hospital.

Having spent all of last week there, I wanted to tell people that I could not have asked for better care and service. The nurses and staff on third floor east were all very professional, kind and courteous. I could not have asked for better care. If I had questions about what was happening to me, they were gracious to explain and were always ready to reassure me. They were great.

We seem to only hear bad things about our hospital, and I wanted folks to know that there are some very good, hardworking people at Athens-Limestone Hospital, and they deserve to be patted on the back for a job well done!

I don’t plan to reside at ALH again soon, but if I’m sick, that’s where I will go.
