Save our Constitution
I want to thank Quentin D. Anderson Sr. for his outstanding letter to the editor last Sunday. He stated perfectly the problem facing our once great nation.
The move to “big government” started with FDR, but this president seems to have a different motive than those before him. The others, while misguided, were “trying to do the right thing.” I believe our current president hates our Constitution and our form of government. I believe he would replace our form of government with socialism, like Cuba, if he could.
The politicians, both state and federal, spend their time worrying over jobs, taxes, the economy, the deficit, our debt, health care and a lot of other things. These things may seem important, but they are not, if we lose our personal freedom.
I hope Mr. Anderson is right about people starting to wake up to this impending disaster. I have little fear that Alabama will vote for Obama. My real fear is the states that might vote for him. Those of you who have friends and family in states like Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Colorado and Missouri need to start talking to them about voting to save our Constitution and nation.
Thinking about the Creation
For quite awhile I have been thinking about creation and evolution. As everyone should know that it is not a scientific fact. I say this because many of the scientists are divided on their beliefs.
One scientist has a creation museum in Rose, Texas. They come up with a big rock, but don’t know where it came from. After this they had the rock explode and don’t say what made it explode. Then they have an exploded rock form all heavenly bodies, also all forms of life from a one-cell amoebas, including monkeys. If we came from monkeys, why do we still have monkeys (although many persons act like monkeys, including myself at times)?
When a rock blows up it keeps going, if it’s in space. Gravity does not have any effect, and where did they get the gravity on some rocks, and none on others? No one has found the “missing link.” Although someone found a tooth, formed some sort of a body from it, and, I believe Darwin claimed it was the missing link.
I believe that I solved the mystery, by referring to my usual source, the Bible. My Bible states that in the beginning God created the heavens and Earth. It also tells just how he formed it. It does not say he created a big, big rock, then blew it up and let everything form itself.
It goes on to say how he created the sun, moon, and stars, plus everything else, including all other living things, all fish, mammals, and animals (including monkeys), plus grass, trees, and oceans, rivers, and mountains, etc.
I believe that after billions of years, playing with dinosaurs and cave men, he said “let us form man in our image.” So, he created Adam and Eve, and everything else. It also has the genealogy of most everyone from Adam and Eve to the birth of Jesus.
If you will get a KN Bible and read Genesis chapter one it will explain just how creation began. Then if you find it interesting, you should continue reading all the way through Revelation, which is very interesting reading, and may save you from hell.
