Couponers are rude

Dear Editor:

I understand the coupon craze is the big thing right now; however, the way "so-called adults" are acting is ridiculous.

Not just the rude people who are not considerate in the stores, but this past Sunday, as I do every Sunday, I took my wife to buy a few newspapers to do her couponing.

Someone had cleaned out all the inserts in all of the papers in that rack, and I know it had them as my neighbor who subscribes got theirs. Understand people, you aren't saving you are stealing! Not just from the newspaper, the carrier, but also the customer who will be purchasing the paper. Sad really since you can get coupons legitimately in so many ways. So save your fifty cents on that grocery item, and feel good knowing you stole to do so.

Never heard so many lies

Dear Editor:

I have lived for a long time, but never have I seen anything like the way the presidential candidates are carrying on, or, for that matter the way the congress and other members of their party seem to be intent on destroying everything this country was founded on. There is so much corruption, one lobbyist (according to my information) seems to control most of congress and the senate when it comes to fair taxation for all persons, which should include rich, middle class, poor and corporations.

Why should every time these self serving people in Washington put the burden of taxes and the economy on the backs of the persons that can least afford it? Also, someone and most of his party want to destroy Social Security and Medicare.

For obvious reasons they won’t say that we paid all of our working lives into the system to have security when we retire. They won’t admit that they took our money from Social Security and wasted it.

As for Medicare, we pay more for insurance and get much, much less than anyone on private or government insurance. Hospitals don’t want us and our good doctors are way underpaid because of the insurance companies greed.

Let’s take the taxpayer funded retirement and health insurance from these vultures in Washington and see just how much they like it! The way things are going in this country now it won’t be long before it will be worse than all of the countries in the Middle East if these people are re-elected.

I have never heard so many outright lies, propaganda put out trying to brainwash the middle class into voting for them again in order for them to make janitors out of our children and low paid slaves out of everyone else.

How about making janitors out of their children in order for them to learn how to work for an honest living instead of being a politician, banker, insurance CEO or a stock market manipulator! For some reason the super rich, rich, banks, CEOs and not so rich have the desire to completely destroy most of the middle class, seniors, low income and poor.

Remember, God says, “It is given a man once to die, then judgment!”
