Hannah Dildine, an eighth grader, and her sister, Chasity Dildine, a junior, were in Huntsville Hospital in stable condition Tuesday night. West Limestone Principal Charlotte Craig said the Dildines are members of the varsity softball team. She said in their honor, games scheduled Tuesday at the school, were called off. “I’ve talked to their teammates on the softball team and told them they are in stable condition,” said Craig. “I think some of the girls are going to the hospital tonight (Tuesday) to visit and take a basket. The girls are very concerned, and we’ve told them to go in small groups.” School officials said Chasity Dildine was driving the vehicle and apparently lost control, causing it to flip on its side. The wreck occurred on Cottonbelt Road, which is south of the school. The wreck occurred shortly before 8 a.m. The younger sister was airlifted from the scene by Medflight helicopter. Chasity Dildine was taken by ambulance to Athens-Limestone Hospital. She was later transported to Huntsville Hospital at the request of her parents.
