— County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday, some of which may be the result of grand jury indictments:
• J.D. Barnett Jr., 31, of 14745 Cris Way, Athens, two counts of bond revocation.
• Carlas Antonio Colley, 30, of Georgianna, failure to pay child support.
• Linda Janette Green, 53, of 803 Horton St., Athens, public intoxication.
• Larry Brandon Jackson, 28, of 21720 Piney Chapel Road, two counts of bond revocation.
• Andrew Tyler Jones, 18, of 27584 Miller Lane, Elkmont, bond revocation.
• Joshua Lloyd Patterson, 19, of 17083 Matthew Way, Athens, bond revocation.
• James Lee Shelton, 34, of Madison, passing worthless checks.

County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:
• A Poulan brand weed cutter, lawnmower and an air-compressor, valued at $500 total, were stolen May 6 from the 19000 block of East Limestone Road.
• Several guns and jewelry, valued at $4,000 total, were stolen May 6 from the 800 block of Old Railroad Bed Road.
• Clothing and seven DVDs, valued at $640 total, were stolen May 6 from the 12000 block of Lawngate Road.

City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:
• Antique chest of drawers, wooden, bed, dresser and mirror, fan, two tables, buffet, dish and pie safe, and antique metal kitchen table were stolen May 6 from 206 N. Marion St. in Athens.

Wrecks
• Rosie L. Pickett, 64, of Athens was injured May 6 in a wreck on Strain Road. She was treated at Athens-Limestone Hospital. Athens police investigated.

Hospital report
Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions and one discharge Wednesday.
Discharged was William Clemons of Athens.
