— County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Thursday, some of which may be the result of grand jury indictments:
• Samantha Dawn Baugher, 32, of 13873 Monarch Way, Athens, probation violation.
• Rodney Douglas Dixon, 36, of Madison, third-degree criminal mischief.
• Sarah Elizabeth Grace Farmer, 21, of Hanceville, harassing communications.
• Danny Joe Ridinger, 51, of 18292 Spence Cave Road, Elkmont, domestic violence.

City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Thursday:
• Gregory Scott Poss, 25, of 113 Grant St., Harvest, two counts of probation violation.
• Aarond Shane Wammack, 38, of Muscle Shoals, possession of a controlled substance.
• Cory Ladale White, 24, of 25809 Cole St., Elkmont, open container of alcohol.

County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts and incidents Thursday:
• Electrical wiring valued at $7,500 was stolen from a house under construction off Apple Orchard Road. Capt., Stanley McNatt said the theft was reported Wednesday and occurred sometime over the past month.
• A car was damaged on U.S. 72 West at 11 p.m. Wednesday night when someone threw a soft-drink bottle and hit the grill of the moving vehicle.

City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Thursday:
• Two cellular telephones valued at $300 were stolen Wednesday from Shell Food Mart at 1515 U.S. 72 East in Athens.
• Two fishing poles and a lantern valued at $123 were stolen Wednesday from 810 Sanders St. in Athens.

Hospital report
Athens-Limestone Hospital reported one admission and no discharges Thursday.
Admitted was Carlos Black of Athens.
