The Alabama Veterans Museum and Archives will host a political forum 6 p.m. Friday.
“This forum is open to both parties that will have candidates in the June primary election,” said Board Pres. Jerry Crabtree. “So far, we have nine or 10 candidates who have said they will be there.”
Candidates will have an allotted time to present his or her platform.
“We hope the public will come out and hear these candidates,” said Crabtree. “We feel that the Veterans Museum is the right setting for a political forum, because it was our veterans who went to war to protect our democratic process.”
The museum is located in the old L&N Freight Depot on Pryor Street.
