County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday, some of which may be the result of grand jury indictments:
• Jacobo Gomes Enamorado, 51, of Decatur, public intoxication.
• Antonio Flores Maza, 61, of Decatur, DUI, speeding, no driver’s license.
• James Ronald Pope, 57, of Madison, four counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument.
• Amoreena Sartor, 32, of Madison, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument.
• Misty Lee Watson, 27, of 15436 Elk River Mills Road, Athens, failure to pay child support from Cullman County.
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday, some of which may be the result of grand jury indictments:
• Travis Wendell Nelson, 38, of 2106 Luke St., Athens, public intoxication, resisting arrest.
• Charles Houston King Jr., 46, of Smith Vasser Road, Harvest, conspiracy to commit a controlled substance crime.
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• A pair of Air Jordan Nike tennis shoes valued at $165 was reported stolen on May 15 from the 27000 block of Michael Lane.
• Tow straps and tie-down straps valued at $325 were stolen May 9-10 from the 1000 block of Old Railroad Bed Road.
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• Twenty-five brass bolts and 52 feet of copper wiring, valued at $363, were stolen May 17 from Athens Biodiesel at 25716 Airport Road in Athens.
Hospital report
Athens-Limestone Hospital reported one admission and no discharges Tuesday.
Admitted was Billy Williams, of Athens.
Admissions and discharges represent only those people who agreed to have their names published.
