County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
Donna Hargrove, 38, of 27238 Salem Minor Hill Road in Lester, an employee at Piggly Wiggly in Elkmont, was arrested and charged with theft and fraudulent use of a debit or credit card. She is accused of stealing money and a debit card from fellow employees. She was released on bond. Randy Burroughs investigated.
• Tommy Edward Cahall, 33, of 17467 East Limestone Road, Athens, open container of alcohol, driving while suspended, driving on wrong side of the road and DUI (combined alcohol and other drugs)
• Shannon Elizabeth Feria, 24, of 29450 Andrea Lane Drive S.E., Madison, no insurance (for the Madison Police Department)
• Sandra Gail Mears, 31, of 28550 Alabama 251, Ardmore, driving with a revoked licence



County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• Mail stolen Monday from the 16000 block of Alabama 251
• Three handguns and a rifle valued at $1,700 stolen between Jan. 20 and Monday from the 25000 block of Copeland Road
• Two shotguns, jar containing change and collection of razors, total value $1,130, stolen during a burglary Monday in the 12000 block of Spring Road
• Orange engine hoist valued at $400 stolen Monday from the 14000 block of Morgan Butler Drive
• Mail stolen Monday from the 26000 block of Bain Road

City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Steven Leon Bivens, 40, of 18129 Hightower Road, Athens, DUI (drugs) and possession of a controlled substance
• Emmanuel Figueroa, 24, of 2506 Spring Ave., Apt. 115, Decatur, third-degree domestic violence
• Antonio Flores, 23, of 19260 Airfield St., Lot 78, Athens, DUI
• Cynthia Diane Hastings, 34, of 18896 Lydia Corey Road, Athens, reckless endangerment
• Gaither Dewayne Williams, 40, of 13222 U.S. 31, Apt. 6, Athens, DUI

City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• U-Haul tow dolly valued at $2,6000 stolen between Saturday and Monday from 316 U.S. 31 North
• Morphine pills, diamond sapphire bracelet, gold bracelet with initials, blue swatch watch with a total value of $247 taken in a burglary Monday at 107 Garrett Drive
• Weed trimmer valued at $80 taken between Sunday and Monday from 312 Strange St.
• Stihl brand chainsaw valued at $285 taken in a burglary between May 1 and May 29 at 16539 Lucas Ferry Road

Hospital report
Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions and two discharges Tuesday.
Discharged: Bobby Moore and Madge Webb, both of Athens
