5th annual Clements Rodeo set for July 13-14

— Mark your calendars for the fifth annual Clements Rodeo July 13 and 14 at the Limestone County Sheriff’s Arena on Alabama 99 at Elm Street.
This year’s sponsors are: Alabama Watersports; Athens-Limestone Hospital Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy; Champion Chrysler Dodge; Tri-Green Equipment of Athens and Pepsi.
Events include:
• Bareback riding
• Saddle bronc riding
• Calf roping
• Girls breakaway roping
• Steer wrestling
• Team roping
Special events include:
• Gold Rush
• Calf scramble
• Steer race
• Bull riding
• Girls barrel racing
Tickets are being sold on one side of grain-fed beef each night. One $2 ticket gives the holder two chances to win. Ticket holders do not have to be present to win.
Gates open at 6 p.m. with Gold Rush beginning at 7:30 p.m. Performances are at 8 p. m.
Tickets at the gate are $12 each for adults and $10 for children with preschoolers admitted free of charge.
Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children and may be purchased at: Preston’s Western Wear, Jiffy’s, Geezburger, Country Cuisine in Rogersville and Clements High School.
Proceeds benefit the Clements High School athletic program.
