An Alabama State Trooper suffered non-life threatening injuries Wednesday at 2:40 p.m. when he crashed his motorcycle in Madison County, just west of Alabama 53, attempting to pursue a speeding motorcycle.
A state trooper’s spokesperson said the injured trooper, whose name was not released, was in Limestone County on McKee Road near Creekside Drive near the Madison County line when he lost control and crashed in Madison County as he attempted to turn and pursue the speeding motorcycle.
The officer was taken by MedFlight to Huntsville Hospital.
Anyone who witnessed the accident or has information about the speeding motorcycle is asked to call the Huntsville trooper post at (256) 536-1898.
