Escape from the worm

— Keenon Currier, 11, of Athens, emerges from a giant inflatable worm in the opening minutes of the Reliance Bank Fire Cracker Festival Friday in front of Athens High School Golden Eagles Stadium. Threatening skies had some concerned that the fireworks show after dusk would get rained out.
