County arrests
Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Emmanuel Omar Collier, 29, of 806 Moreland, Athens, violated probation on conviction for first-degree burglary
• Corey Brandon Farris, 24, of 23685 Slate Road, Elkmont, bond revoked on convictions for first-degree robbery and first-degree assault
• Joel Dwight Gooch, Jr., 24, of 22574 Easterferry Road, Elkmont, second-degree criminal mischief
• James Neal Hargrove, 34, of 2211 Poplar Hill Road, Prospect, Tenn., illegal possession of prohibited liquor
County thefts
Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• Capco 10 1/2 foot break valued at $1,400 taken in a theft between Sept. 20 and Oct. 1 in the 15000 block of Blackburn Road
• Cub Cadet riding mower and 250cc Jianshe four-wheeler, total value $2,120, taken in a burglary between Thursday and Monday in the 12000 block of Lucas Ferry Road
• One .45-caliber Taurus handgun, valued at $400, taken during the breaking and entering of a vehicle between Saturday and Sunday in the 21000 block of Oakland Meadows Drive
• A safe containing miscellaneous jewelry and $600 cash, total value $2,600, burglarized Monday in the 22000 block of Buttermilk Way
• Copper tubing and wiring valued at $600 taken Tuesday in a theft in the 18000 block of Bill Black Road. Steven Eugene Hacker, 18, of Athens and Bobby Glenn Pylant, 37, of Elkmont have been charged with second-degree theft in the incident and are currently in Limestone County Jail.
