Athens Police are investigating several vehicle break-ins and thefts that occurred early Thursday in Athens.
Lt. Floyd Johnson said the break-ins occurred at Indian Trace subdivision between midnight and 3:30 a.m.
A Jensen brand auto stereo, iPod and wallet, total value $450, were stolen from a white 2005 Nissan Altima at 14719 Cheyenne Drive. The vehicle sustained $400 damage to the driver-side front window.
An Oneal brand backpack and cash, total value $60, were stolen from a vehicle at 14766 Cheyenne Drive.
A Nine West brand purse, wallet, cash, credit card and checkbook, total value $105, were stolen from a vehicle at 22302 Choctaw Lane.
A 7-inch Farenheit brand monitor and a Kenwood brand auto CD/DVD player, total value $750, were stolen from a Ford Expedition at 14850 Creek Lane.
