Madison man still ‘critical’ after wreck

— A Madison man injured Tuesday in a two-vehicle accident in southern Limestone County remains in the surgical intensive care unit at Huntsville Hospital.

Jason Irvin, 38, was listed in “critical” condition Thursday afternoon, a hospital spokeswoman said. He and his 1-year-old son, Jonathan, and the driver of a pickup truck, Zachary Wilson, 21, of Cullman, collided about 8:45 a.m. Tuesday on Swancott Road near Pryor Road, state troopers said.

Wilson had been listed in “good” condition after the wreck.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and the child was in a car seat, troopers said.
