Search warrants served Thursday at two Athens motels culminated with the arrest of three people on drug charges.
Police said the search of a room at the Budget Inn, located at 606 U.S. 31 South, yielded several bags of marijuana, digital scales, syringes, straws, marijuana-laced chocolate, marijuana seeds, rolling papers and paraphernalia used to grow and produce illegal drugs.
Investigators arrested Daniel Keith Quinn, 28, of 120 Cedar Forrest Drive, Smyrna, Tenn., and charged him with possession of a controlled substance.
A second search warrant executed at the Bomar Inn, located at 1101 U.S. 31, turned up hydrocodone, carisoprodol and diazepam.
Police arrested 26-year-old John Robert Lindberg and charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and distribution of a dangerous drug. He gave police no address.
Also arrested was Leslie Erin White, 34, whose address is at the Bomar Inn. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Quinn and Lindberg were still in Limestone County Jail as of Thursday afternoon. Their bonds were set at $5,000 and $16,000, respectively.
White was released on $8,000 bond.
