Decatur police seek public's help in finding missing woman

DECATUR — A 66-year-old Decatur woman diagnosed with dementia is missing and police are seeking the public's help in finding her.

Elizabeth Loretta Swords was last seen about 4 p.m. Christmas Day, said Decatur Police Sgt. George Silvestri. She was supposed to be driving from her apartment on Sandlin Road to Kirby Bridge Road in a 1999 maroon Ford Explorer with tag number  52C16A4, Silvestri said.

Swords stands 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs about 200 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes, he said.
