Bank pledges $5,000 to hospital foundation

— First National Bank recently renewed a $5,000 pledge to the Athens-Limestone Hospital Foundation.

Steve Smith, senior vice president-county executive of First National Bank, is also president of the Athens-Limestone Hospital board. Andy Whitt, vice president of the bank, is an ALH Foundation board member.

“Both of these gentlemen are instrumental in their respective boards,” said Shelli Waggoner, ALH Foundation director. “They both have a passion for our hospital. Everyone at First National Bank volunteers and works with our foundation. We are very grateful to have their support.”
