Toney man expected to plead guilty to Mississippi bank robberies

— OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — A suspect in four bank robberies may soon be pleading guilty to the crimes.

WTVA TV reports 35-year-old Brian Perry Jones, of Toney, Ala., is scheduled for a change of plea hearing in U.S. District Court in Oxford on Tuesday.

He pleaded not guilty to the crimes in January.

Law enforcement accuses Jones of robbing banks in Tupelo, Iuka and Booneville from August 2012 to November 2012.

Two of the robberies were in Tupelo.
