School safety report completed

— COXEY, Ala. — A comprehensive safety report has been completed by Limestone County Schools for each of the system’s 12 school facilities.

A committee was formed by Superintendent Dr. Tom Sisk in August and charged with assessing safety and implementing improvements. Members visited the schools and evaluated requests by faculty and staff to increase campus safety.

“There were commonalities from school to school,” said Zebbra Green, committee chair and human resources director. “We have a comprehensive list but it’s not overwhelming at the same time, and we have a list of our needs and our funding options.”
