Hitting the Links: 2nd NAACP Golf Classic set for Friday

— The Limestone County NAACP is hosting its second annual Educational Golf Classic on Friday, benefiting area youth scholarships and activities.

The public event will be held at the Links, a 36-hole course at the Redstone Arsenal. Registration and check-in will begin at 7 a.m., with a shotgun start at 8.

The $75 individual registration fee includes lunch, greens fee, golf cart and prize opportunities.

The course is at 4140 Goss Road Southwest in Huntsville, with nonmilitary personnel required to check in at the arsenal gate.
