County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Shannon Dianne Hofstra, 34, of 24394 Frank Gossett Road, Athens, third-degree assault and third-degree domestic violence (assault)

• Randy Gene Kyle Sr., 49, of 15854 Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road, Athens, DUI and possession of a controlled substance

• Stanley Michael Scott, 48, of 25949 Rooker Lane, Elkmont, public intoxication

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• LESTER — Field drag and field scratcher, total value $500, stolen between Dec. 21 and Jan. 3 from 10000 block West Limestone School Road

• TANNER — Potting machines, valued at $1,500, stolen Jan. 4 in 20000 block Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road

• ATHENS — Phillips 30-inch TV, Vizio 37-inch TV, Nintendo GameCube game console, Wii game system and games, total value $1,400, burglarized Jan. 5 in 18000 block Golden Rod Way

• ATHENS — Damage estimated at $2,799 during burglary between Jan. 6 and 7 in 13000 block Sugar Plum Lane

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Courtney Michelle Adams, 25, of 18439 Prescott St., Athens, driving under the influence

• Danny Ray Smith, 48, of 5657 County Road 217, Hillsboro, DUI (any substance) and possession of a controlled substance

• Crystal Dawn Gee, 33, of 215 Knubbin Ridge Road, Lynnville, Tenn., reckless endangerment

• Joseph Wayne Jackson, 18, of 27633 Saddle Trail, Toney, probation revoked on previous charge of third-degree theft (youthful offender)

• James Ray Franklin, 47, of County Hearth, Room 216, Athens, third-degree criminal trespassing

• Cynthia Denise Jones, 42, of 722 Westmoreland Ave., Athens, possession of controlled substance, giving false name to a law-enforcement officer, possession of drug paraphernalia

• Kimberly Dawn King, 22, of 808 Swan Drive, Athens, arrest for Florence Police Department

• Christopher Thomas Long, 21, of 110 Brandon Drive, Madison, arrest for Madison Police Department

City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• Medications, total value $700, burglarized Jan. 4 in 4900 block U.S. 72 East

• Social Security card, miscellaneous documents, driver’s license, Chevron gasoline credit card,  BP gasoline credit card, Redstone Visa credit card and debit/credit card, no values given, $200 cash, and wallet, valued at $50, stolen Jan. 4 in 1000 block U.S. 72 East

• Cadillac vehicle key, All Kids insurance card, Alabama driver’s license, Social Security card, Ulta cosmetics gift card, Altered State gift card and Walmart gift card, and Redstone debit card, total value $325, reported stolen on Jan. 4, in 22000 block Missy Leigh Lane

• Checks, gift card, three credit cards, $160 cash, Social Security card, driver’s license and Purse/handbag, wallet, total value $230, stolen Jan. 5 in 1500 block U.S. 72 East

• PlayStation Vita PCH-1001 handheld video game system and three Vita games, total value $355, burglarized Jan. 5 in 900 bock North Houston Street

• Hyper Havoc men’s 26-inch BLK bicycle with SS shock absorber, valued at $150, stolen Jan. 7 in 800 block Sanders Street

• Damage estimated at $1,400 to passenger side and hood of Chevrolet S-10 in criminal mischief between Jan. 6 and 7 in 18000 block North Jefferson Street
