Closings in Limestone County

ATHENS — Limestone and surrounding counties will be under a winter storm warning from 6 p.m. Sunday through 6 p.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service in Huntsville.

Gov. Bob Riley declared a state of emergency statewide Sunday afternoon as the storm approached.

Closings announced Sunday:

Limestone County Schools Closed Monday

Athens City Schools Closed Monday

Athens Bible School Closed Monday

Athens State University Closed Monday

Faith Christian Academy Closed Monday

Local State of Alabama offices Closed Monday

Calhoun Community College Closed Monday
