— Julie Terry and her husband, Zach, will fly to New York Tuesday to prepare for her Wednesday debut on NBC’s “The Today Show.”

Julie, 35, won an anchor look-alike contest after her husband sent in a photo of the mother of three, who some people say looks like co-host Natalie Morales.

“I was so surprised,” Julie said. “It’s really a fun opportunity.”

The national morning show has paid for the couple to fly up Tuesday where Julie will receive the star treatment to be made to look like Morales and appear with her live on air Wednesday morning.

Zach, pastor at Capshaw Baptist Church in Harvest, said it all started two years ago when Julie got a haircut. After she returned from the salon, people left and right were telling her she reminded them of Morales. Then last month, Zach saw “The Today Show” was hosting the look-alike contest and decided on a whim to enter Julie.

“He told me after the fact,” Julie said. “We just kind of laughed about it and went on.”

The Terrys didn’t think much about the contest until today, when they were asked if they could be in New York by Tuesday.

The couple plans to stay an extra night in New York to go Christmas shopping.
