Goldilocks-like weather on tap for Limestone County this weekend

While Hurricane Arthur churns in the Atlantic coast and severe drought conditions affect western states, Limestone County is expected to experience a Goldilocks-like Fourth of July weekend -- not too hot, and not too cold.

Better yet, the clear overnight skies that are predicted through the weekend will allow fireworks to shine brightly.

The weather gets started off with a bang today with high temperatures only reaching the mid-80s and lows tonight in the lower 60s. The National Weather Service in Huntsville predicts Independence Day highs will hover in the lower 80s and nighttime lows will dip down into the upper 50s.

Expect more of the same through the weekend, with sunny skies on Saturday and Sunday and highs in the mid-to-upper 80s and lows in the lower-to-mid-60s. The heat returns next week, however, as temperatures climb into the lower 90s on Monday and a chance of storms returns on Tuesday.
