UPDATE: Two Limestone men facing drug charges in Decatur

DECATUR — Three men — one each from Athens, Elkmont and Cullman — are facing multiple drug charges following a drug bust by Decatur Police.

Members of the department’s Anti-Crime Unit were patrolling the area of Cardinal Apartments in Decatur about 8 p.m. Tuesday, when Officer Shawn Hudson saw a suspicious vehicle parked in front of an apartment, according Lt. Jonathan Green.

After further investigation, Hudson found cocaine, several different prescription pills that were not in prescription bottles, digital scales and other drug paraphernalia. The drugs and paraphernalia were found in the vehicle and on the arrestees, Green told The News Courier.

The driver and owner of the vehicle was identified as Marcus Leo Kyle, 28, of 24745 Buckner Drive, Elkmont. Two other subjects were identified as Bradley Dewayne Wallace, 24, of 23876 Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road, Athens; and Robert Brian Clark, 30, of 1489 Viego Village Court SW, Cullman. Kyle and Wallace were arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of prescription drugs. They were transferred to the Morgan County Jail, where bail is set at $3,500 each.

Clark was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with physical evidence and possession of prescription drugs. The tampering charge resulted because Clark allegedly attempted to conceal drug paraphernalia from officers during the investigation, Green said.

He was transferred to the Morgan County Jail, with bail set at $4,000.
