ALERT: Warming Station to open Tuesday and Wednesday

Due to  frigid temperatures expected in the Tennessee Valley over the next couple of days, First United Methodist Church of Athens will be opening the Beasley Center, located on the corner of Bryan Street and Marion Street, as a warming station.  

The station will be open nights only for those without adequate heating and food.

The hours of operation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday

A hot dinner and breakfast items will be served.
