Ships Ahoy!

Replicas of Columbus’ ships the “Nina” and  “Pinta” docked at Joe Wheeler State Park in Rogersville Tuesday and sailed out early Wednesday morning en route to Decatur harbor. The ships will dock Wednesday at Riverwalk Marina at 3755 U.S. 31 North until their departure early Tuesday.

The public can tour them beginning today. The exhibit is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., no reservations required. Prices are $8 for adults, $7 for senior citizens and $6 for students ages 5 to 16. Children under 4 are admitted free.
