Two Huntsville men charged in county church burglaries

— Two Huntsville men are facing charges in connection with burglaries at three Limestone County churches.

Limestone County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Daniel Joseph Griswold, 46, and Christopher Allen Griswold, 24, at their 3909 Talwell Drive SW apartments on charges of third-degree burglary, Limestone County Sheriff Mike Blakely said.

The alleged incidents occurred over the weekend off U.S. 31, south of Athens, the sheriff said.

Both men remained in the Limestone County Jail Thursday with bail set at $2,500 each.

Blakely praised the investigators for their efforts on the case and for bringing it to a swift closure.
