Man fires into occupied vehicle

— A man fired three times at an occupied vehicle late Sunday evening at the intersection of Lizzie Lane and Bill Black Road, according to the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s department Capt. Stanley McNatt said a white male used a small-caliber handgun to shoot at a pick-up truck driven by an adult male, who was not injured.

“He hit the tailgate of the truck twice and the passenger-side mirror once,” McNatt said. “We have the suspect identified, and we expect to make an arrest soon.”

The shooting took place between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and midnight.
