Tenn. man transferred to county for theft, burglary charges

— Records show that a Tennessee man indicted by a Limestone County grand jury three years ago was arrested by the Davidson County (Tenn.) Sheriff’s Department and extradited to the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office this week.

Olin Edward Amundsen, 39, of 4 Johnson Hill Road, Fayetteville, was transferred by a Limestone sheriff’s deputy and booked Monday at the Limestone County Jail.

According to an affidavit filed in Davidson County, Amundsen was arrested on Dec. 12 as a fugitive from justice from Alabama after failing to appear in court on two counts of first-degree theft and two counts of third-degree burglary in Limestone County.

Records also show Amundsen was charged in 2011 with second-degree receiving stolen property in Huntsville, with the charges being dismissed with conditions.

Amundsen remained in custody Tuesday in lieu of $15,000 bail.
