Second man arrested over washer, dryer burglary

Athens Police arrested a second man Tuesday in connection with a March burglary.

Clifford Dewayne Kyle, 35, of 1503 Wheeler St. Lot 5, Athens, was charged in a burglary police said occurred March 17 on Maple Street.

According to a press release, Kyle and Ronnie Lee Pylant took a washer and dryer valued at $200 from a residence. Pylant, 25, of Elkmont, was arrested Saturday after a brief pursuit and was also charged with burglary.

After Kyle was booked at the police department, he was transferred to the Limestone County Jail.
