County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Jessie Glen Adams, 31, of 20485 Bonnie Blue Way, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (assault)

• Peter Cosby, 39, of 18502 Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road, Athens, failing to pay child support

• Kayla Reashea Oliver, 21, of 19593 George Washington St., Tanner, third-degree theft of property

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• ELKMONT — $220 cash stolen Jan. 18 in 27000 block Veto Road

• ATHENS — Fire safe, .22-caliber handgun, .38-caliber handgun, medications and paperwork, total value $560, burglarized Jan. 18 in 16000 block Parker Road

• MADISON — Seven propane tanks, cherry picker engine hoist, lawnmower wagon, 20-foot section T-channel, 302 Ford manifold and two Ford rims/tires, total value $805, stolen Jan. 19 in 2500 block Towe Road

• ATHENS — Six orange safety cones, stolen between Jan. 18 and 19 in 14000 block U.S. 72 West

• ATHENS — Four Zebco brand rod and reels, black tool box with tools, Webber brand grill and turkey fryer, total value $470, stolen Jan. 17 in 11000 block Neely Road

• ELKMONT — Nikon brand camera, valued at $129, stolen between Jan. 16 and 19 in 27000 block Alabama 127

• ELKMONT — Set of jumper cables, valued at $30, stolen Jan. 15 in 28000 block Pettusville Road

• ELKMONT — GE brand appliances, no value given, burglarized between Jan. 11 and 21 on Poplar Drive

• ATHENS — Copper wiring, no amount or value given, stolen between Jan. 14 and 21 in 19000 block Airfield Street

• ELKMONT — Frigidaire brand refrigerator, GE stove and split unit AC coil, total value $350, burglarized between Jan. 17 and 20 in 15000 block Witty Mill Road

• ELKMONT — Hand stitched quilts, 70 polished copper pieces of cookware, dining table and household items, total value $13,650, stolen between Jan. 17 and 18 in 23000 block Alabama 99

• ATHENS — Metal shelving, no amount or value given, burglarized between Jan. 12 and 21 in 15000 block Hastings Road

• LESTER — Curtains and miscellaneous items, total value $100, burglarized between Jan. 19 and 21 in 28000 block Holly Lane

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Kayla Reshea Oliver, 21, of 105 Whitfield St., Athens, third-degree theft

• Rohn Everett Pruett, 58, of 606 U.S. 31, Room 120, Athens, third-degree criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct

• April Joy Thomas, 29, of 15941 Thompson Lane, Athens, third-degree theft

• Lynette Gina Hudson Kiser, 43, of 601 Coleman Ave., Athens, arrest for Decatur Police Department

• Joe Louis Thompson, 24, of 1012 Highland Drive, Athens, third-degree criminal trespassing

• Adam Matthew Kyle, 31, of 18078 East Limestone Road, Athens, arrest for Limestone County Sheriff’s Office

• Gary Wayne Worthy, 40, of 2753 Pressnell Road, Athens, third-degree theft
