County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Tammy Carol Green, 37, of 16609 Blackburn Road, Lot 9, Athens, probation violations on previous convictions for possession of a controlled substance and manufacturing a controlled substance

• Steven Andrew Lauer, 23, of 11833 Neely Road, Athens, violated probation on previous conviction for second-degree criminal mischief

• Randall Lamar McCafferty, 50, of 26525 Bethel Road, Elkmont, theft (for Giles County)

• Savannah Gayle Mendoza, 26, of 15255 Cannon Road, Elkmont, third-degree burglary

• Douglas Allen Ray, 46, of 24300 Ben Stanford Road, Athens, violated probation on previous conviction for driving under the influence

• Hugo Roberto Sanchez, 33, of 15044 Ham Road, Athens, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Jeremi Nicole Smith, 32, of 1778 County Road 369, Trinity, driving under the influence of drugs and possession of a controlled substance

• Jonathan David Stebbins, 28, of 30710 Williams Lane, Decatur, contempt (third-degree burglary)

• Adrienne Lynn Tisdale, 25, of 7901 Greenbriar Road, Madison, bond revoked on previous charge of public intoxication

• Otis Glenn Williams Jr., 39, of 13566 Nancy Lou Loop, Athens, violated probation on previous convictions for two counts of possession of a controlled substance

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• ATHENS — P&T car hauler 82-inch-by-18-foot trailer, valued at $2,500, stolen between Jan. 26 and 28 in 15000 block Shaw Road

• ATHENS — Sears 3-ton condensing unit, valued at $3,400, stolen between Nov. 29 and Dec. 29, 2012, in 9400 block Taylor Oaks Road

• ELKMONT — Craftsman large tool box with tools, Craftsman Mechanics large tool box with tools, Kobalt brand large air compressor, Storm King generator, battery charger, leaf blower, Delvol small air compressor and a Stihl chain saw, total value $10,690, burglarized between Jan. 28 and 29 in 25000 block Thatch Road

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following new arrest Wednesday:

• Andrew Jason Helm, 29, of 500 Elkton St., Apt. E-22, Athens, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia

City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• Magnetic auto dealer tag D28997, valued at $50, stolen between Jan. 25 and 29 in 900 block South Jefferson Street

• Chevrolet Tahoe K15 SUV, valued at $8,000, stolen Jan. 29 in 100 block U.S. 72 East

• Ruger 7 mm left-handed bolt-action rifle and box of 7 mm ammunition taken and passenger side rear door window damaged, total value $1,040, during breaking and entering of a Ford F150 truck between Jan. 29 and 30 in 22000 block Menowa Trace

• Custom-built XP computer tower with a Dell monitor taken and passenger-side rear window damaged, total value $1,450, during breaking and entering of a four-door Honda Civic Jan. 30 in 22000 block Diamond Pointe Drive

• Costa Del Mar sun glasses, Sony CD player, Pioneer CD player and black Apple iPod taken and driver door window on Honda Ridgeline damaged and passenger door window on Honda Accord damaged, total value $1,500, during breaking and entering of vehicles between Jan. 29 and 30 in 22000 block Chickasaw Drive

• Amplifier, 15-inch subwoofer and box, and CD/DVD player taken and driver door window damaged, total value $1,450, during breaking and entering of Ford Mustang between Jan. 29 and 30 in 300 block Plantation Way

Wrecks

• Mary Vanessa Vinson of Athens was injured in an accident at 2:40 p.m. Jan 29 at the intersection of U.S. 31 and Alabama 251 — Athens Police

• Sheila Adams Jackson of Athens was injured in an accident at 5:43 p.m. Jan. 29 at the intersection of U.S. 31 and East Hobbs Street — Athens Police
