Tanner farmer funnels grant to THS greenhouse

— TANNER — Miranda Looney isn’t a graduate but she has several ties to Tanner High School.

Looney’s husband, his parents and his grandparents graduated from Tanner, and her two sons currently attend the school, which is three miles from her family business, Looney Farms.

On Thursday morning, Looney and Monsanto Fund district sales manager Toby Covin visited the campus to present a $2,500 donation accepted by Assistant Principal Vince Green.
