Athens Police arrested two men after seizing drugs, ammunition and a ledger used for bootlegging at an Athens home, an official said.
Investigators served a search warrant Friday at 703 Westview Ave., where they found cocaine, crack cocaine, pipes believe to have been used to smoke marijuana and other drugs, various rounds of ammunition and a ledger used for bootlegging alcohol, Police Chief Floyd Johnson said.
Arrested were Terry Wayne Anderson, 50, of 703 Westview St., Athens, on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, and Johnny Washington Anderson Jr., 44, of 102 Magnolia St., Athens, on charges of possession of a controlled substance, the chief said.
Both men were booked at the Police Department and transferred to the Limestone County Jail.
Johnny was released after posting a $5,000 bail. Terry remained jailed in lieu of posting $6,000 bail.
