After a rather ruthless winter many are itching to get outdoors to start their home improvement and landscaping projects. Those looking for ideas may draw inspiration from attending the Limestone County Home and Garden Show Saturday and Sunday at the Limestone County Event Center on Pryor Street in Athens.
Events will kick off at 9 a.m. Saturday and run until 4 p.m. Sunday hours are noon until 4 p.m. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted to support Hospice of Limestone County.
The event, now in its 10th year, offers a variety of vendors — 60 inside exhibitors and 10 outside — specializing in home improvement, home decorating, gardening and landscape projects as well as a children’s area.
Attendees can register to win a $500 flight voucher for Huntsville International Airport and a number of exhibitors are offering door prizes like a trip for two to Talladega, grills, paint vouchers and more.
