Athens man arrested for local church burglary

— A man wanted in connection to a burglary at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on West Market Street was arrested Monday in Montgomery.

Devin Allen Falconbury, 26, of 301 Wellington Road in Athens was wanted on a Limestone County grand jury warrant for a third-degree burglary that occurred Feb. 24, 201l, according to Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson.

Johnson said Falconbury allegedly took copper, drills, saws and painting equipment, which was valued at about $3,500.

Falconbury was transported from Montgomery to Athens where he was booked at the Police Department and then transferred to the Limestone County jail.
