Worker falls from apartment roof

— An unidentified male worker fell 15 to 20 feet at about 3:30 p.m. today at Tanglewood Apartments in Athens, according to scanner reports.

Reports indicated the man was unresponsive after falling from the roof while doing gutter work, with a MedFlight helicopter being summoned from Huntsville and Athens Fire and Rescue responding to the accident.

The helicopter arrived at the scene at 4 p.m., and the victim was transported to Huntsville Hospital with unknown injuries.
