— Limestone County Schools Superintendent Dr. Thomas Sisk, read the Dr. Seuss book “Cat in the Hat” Monday to students at Blue Springs Elementary School to acknowledge and celebrate “Read Across America.”

The books read this week allowed students to wear a hat, silly socks and clothes, and pajamas in keeping with a book’s campout theme.

For Friday’s book “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish,” students were asked to wear their Camp Blue Springs T-shirts.
