Elkmont Christmas parade is Saturday

— The Elkmont Lions Club annual Christmas parade will be at 2 p.m. Saturday.

This year’s theme is “The Jingle Bell Train.”

To enter, pick up an entry form at Elkmont town hall, Superior Bank or from these Lions Club members: Dickey Hobbs at 256-732-4300, Bill Bryant at 256-732-3206, Larry Pylant at 256-732-4493, or Charles Christenson at 256-732-2266. Fee is $20, unless the entry is for a non-profit or horse group.

Float grand prize is $250, first prize is $175, second prize is $150 and third prize is $100. Best Antique Car and Best Antique Tractor winners will receive $100 for first, $50 for second and $25 for third.

Rain date is 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18.
